Craziness Over Crazy Little Thing Called Love- Thai Movie

There are lots of uploaded pictures of Chon in my facebook newsfeed page, uploaded videos; many times I heard it from unspecific people, saying it was good and it was a Thai Movie so to end the rumor inside my head, when I had the chance one day I type it’s tittle in you tube and I was struck by the first episode and as it goes on, I can’t believe it was that short it only have 8 episodes.

 The story was well told, well done, the film captures the entire high school experience of “crushes” but tackle in much wider and deeper concept, giving the watcher so many lessons that they can learn from the movie.

It is amazing how Nam played by Pimchanok Leuwisetpaiboon (Thailand actress) the lead girl who is the not so pretty, dark skin, ordinary girl with eye glasses who is madly, truly, deeply in love with the lead man Chon.

Chon played by Maurio Maurer (Thailand actor) the so handsome “football player” in their schools and off course the famous in the girls because of his good looks.

The story is so cute, it’s start with a lighter events, a simple “crush” of a girl to boy that “seeing the handsome face of Chon already made up the day of Nam”…

The willingness to do everything even to steal her “crush” number just to have the opportunity to call him and when you do, you get so much excited in just a simple “hello”. As a person that can easily get fascinated with this kind of story, I found the whole story amazingly kakilig “ayiiiiiihhhhh” (*,,___,,*) *blush*.

The whole highlights of the story is the transformation of Nam from a “not so pretty, ordinary girl with eyeglasses and dental braces and with dark complexion into a very beautiful, lighter soft skin, tall and decent lady that is so adorable. Her physical transformation is not only the reason why the movie “clicks” and like by the watcher.

Both lead characters personality transform too. Nam timid personality begin to change and improve when she start to be so “inspired” from Chon and for her to get the attention of Chon, she do her best to show off to Chon what she can do better “giving a lessons to the watcher that inspiration or crushes can be use as our advantage and convert the feeling into a good positive outcome of yourself”.

From accidentally or “forcefully” their teacher make Nam and her friends  joined the “drama club” which Nam played as the Snow White, starting from this one single step; she didn’t even notice she grew…

She grew in a much beautiful and more confident person, she even pass through her fear and accept the challenge and request of their teacher to be the drum leader when the real drum leader got injured due to a fight with girls co-members (wanting to have a pictures from Top and Chon), Nam choose by her teacher as replacement which makes her shine even brighter cause she do her best to acquire the skills she has to learn…

Chon pass through his fear not to kick the penalty goal and improve his self in playing football and be able to have the courage to go to Bangkok and play for the team. He reach his dreams and silently, quietly observing and patiently waiting for TIME to give him the chance to confess his repress feelings deep inside his heart, liking Nam from the moment she still have that “dark skin, dental braces, ordinary look with eyeglasses” outlook and love her even more when he watch her “improve herself”.

Chon even handle maturely the fact that he’s best friend Top played by Acharanat Ariyaritwikol (Thailand actor) is in love to Nam, he continue to accept the pain, stand still and deals with everything by diverting his attention to football, photography and compiling special “scrap book” of Nam photos, grew a rose flower from a pot to give it to Nam. He continue liking Nam and like the rose he plant in the pot, his like continues to grow to LOVE and from their he trust he’s FATE that it will lead it to the one he really love (Nam). ^-^

Nam crush to Chon grew into love she didn’t notice it even change her outlook and made her personality even brighter but LIFE offers two side whenever there is good situation, there is also “not so good one” her change in her outlook and her personality brings coldness to their FRIENDSHIP and her friends change their treatment towards her but off course FRIENDS are FRIENDS no matter how hard it seems and how the situation knocks you, the important is you never loose the heart to understand one another and still willing to embrace each and everyone imperfections and yes! That is why it feels so good to have true friends at your back not referring to what they look like and status they have as long they have a good heart and a cheering spirit to boost you up whenever you’re down. That is the kind of friends Nam has and she is really lucky to have true friends same as I ‘am… =)

And after I watched it; Yes I do!. This Thai movie which is the funny thing don’t have lot’s of “ant crawling with touching-touching scenes”, even without it, the concept and story alone stands out and justify the real meaning of the crazy little thing called LOVE… =))
