If you ask me? well'.... " I remember!...." (hahaha... I even stole this line from the movie) ^-^

The first time I encounter this movie is when I' am in Grade four; it was release on the year 1995....

I' am about 7 or 8 years old by that time; our school has a program and it was a "film showing" for us. One of our room is designed to be like a theater. There are big white screen in front of us, our armchair is arranged like it was a seat in an auditorium but still it is our school arm chair. There is a projector at the back of the room and it is rolling by itself; it was like the projector seen in the real theater in malls. I remember I do came close on that projector cause I' am too curious why it is rolling by itself so my attention was not really in the movie which is Casper, my real attention is on the projector how it works and how I can visualize that moving pictures in that white screen in front of me and that is not the only thing that caught my attention; I have my eye on the big exhaust fan just near the projector, it was even bigger than me and funny cause I thought it was an electric fan so I kind play a little (you know most kids do when they are in front of the electric fan, they will speak in front of it and will hear their voice shivering) but to my dismay, my voice didn't shiver when I speak so we just stand there and play with it. Yes! I'am weird by that time, I remember I had two to three classmate also playing with the exhaust fan but we are not really playing with each other. We each had our own world. Most of my classmates sits in the armchair and attentively watching the movie, when I heard my teacher voice, being angry with us (those who plays with exhaust fan) cause we do not truly watch. Our teacher said to us "Pay attention and watch" and that is the only time I do look at the screen and in that very moment I can never forget cause in that moment Casper (the friendly ghost) transform into a very cute guy and the lead girl and that cute guy, they actually kiss ( My gosh! that guy; which I didn't know by that time by name became my instant crush) then suddenly I regret not paying attention to the movie. 

But still I'am lucky cause we have a cable channel by that time and Casper is always on the list of the movie to be watch by the viewers. And I do watch it many times (many, many, many times), can't even remember how many it was. And I do give my full attention when I watched it over and over again...

Casper is actually a ghost, can't even remember his past and still living in his parents mansion with his three evil uncles (which is also a ghost) and he actually met the girl named Kat that is the daughter of Dr.Harvey, the man who moved into to their mansion and who will going to actually live there. Casper found himself happy cause in a long time of his ghost life, he can now have a friend and someone he can talk to. He found himself fascinated in the girl and like her and Kat even help him found out about his past and help him to hopefully return to his human body (but too bad; it was not successful) and then the magic happens; Kat mother which is actually a ghost too became his fairy God mother and grant his wish to be a human only for a few moment before the clock hits 12am (just like Cinderella)...

Why I love this movie?

I love the fact that it is not really scary. Casper is a friendly ghost; can talk, can feel, can love but cannot be touch. He has a kind heart. I love the twist of the story. The emphasize of the sweet scenes. I love the humor especially the humor of his three evil uncle (they are really funny and Kat father as well when he got drunk and messed up himself because of them). The the idea of the unfinished business, which actually (means that it will keep a ghost to cross over because they have some unfinished business); it is a fiction but the idea brought impact to the movie, it is one of the reason that got the viewers attention.... ^-^

Hackers (cyber geek Movie)

I just decided to put this together on my blog since it both epic but i didn't even realize it has the same year of release (1995) what a coincidence?... huh'.... ^-^

Let me make this quick and smooth...

Dade a.k.a "Zero Cool" played by the actor Johnny Lee Miller is a cyber genius and he's assistance is being asked by his group to help them get out in the trouble they got into; brought to them by the novice member of the group Joey Pardella played by Jesse Bradford, hacked a system and bumped into a garbage folder and download it and save it in a disc and their hackers journey began. 


As the group of hackers joined forces to protect Joey, Kate Libby played by Angelina Jolie is also a member of the group, she goes in an alias "Acid Burn" and even "Zero cool" lend his hand to help, their battle of hackers to hackers begin....

The battle of the hackers to hackers is so much exciting and amazing like the hacking of ATM card, the so quick retrieving password of an account, the controlling of the traffic lights in the streets, controlling the lights in every building, hacking the computer in every building; hacking the the wide screen in the streets and even hacking and changing the personality of a person. This is one of the movies that is so retentive to me and Zero Cool and Acid Burn here (both great hackers) develop their love for each other and they tandem called "Crash and Burn"....
